Umbrella Policy / Excess Liability

This policy is the same thing as General Liability as far as coverage goes. This is addition to your underlying General Liability limit. Umbrella policy is general liability with higher limits. When at the time of claim your general liability policy is not enough to cover the umbrella policy jumps in to pay the claim. It is like Gap insurance for auto policies.
